Jerusalem and the Dead Sea

Drive from Ashdod to Jerusalem. Stop for a panoramic view of Jerusalem, the Kidron valley and the Garden of Gethsemane from the top of Mt. of Olives. Cross the Judean desert and descend to the Jordan valley to the Northern shore of the Dead Sea, not far from Jericho. You are now approx.1200 ft. below sea level (The lowest point on earth); here you have a unique experience: floating on the Dead Sea.

Ascend to Jerusalem to visit the most important sites: Visit the Western Wall, the most sacred place for the Jews, built by King Herod the Great to support the Temple of God.
Walk along the Via Dolorosa, the “way of the agony” and continue through the colorful Arab bazaar to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
